UNWIND Code Lab

Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to learn here, with or without a disability, on any device.

What we aim for

This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. We test every page with automatic tools, with the keyboard and on small phone screens.

What you can do

  • Use the whole module with a keyboard. In the code editor, press Esc and then Tab to leave the editor.
  • Press Listen in a lesson to hear the text read aloud.
  • Zoom in on your phone or computer. Text stays readable and the page does not move sideways.
  • Choose the simple editor in a code exercise if a screen reader works better with it.
  • Watch the video with English captions or read the transcript.

Known limits

Some drag-and-drop activities also offer tap or keyboard alternatives; if one of them does not work for you, please tell us. The code you write yourself in an exercise is not checked for accessibility unless the exercise asks for it.

Tell us about a problem

If something does not work for you, write to [email protected] or use the contact form. We answer within two weeks.
